AriEllė was founded by Charithma, a young woman with a lifelong passion for fashion. From childhood, she loved playing dress-up, experimenting with styles, and creating unique looks.Growing up in Sri Lanka, she often faced a challenge: finding clothing that was both fashionable and respectful of cultural traditions. This inspired her to envision a brand that blends style, personality, and cultural pride.
While studying in Sydney, Charithma freely experimented with fabrics and designs, teaching herself about fashion and developing her personal style. Her talent caught attention, and she gained hands-on experience in one of Australia’s largest fashion chains. This opportunity gave her a deep understanding of the retail world, customer needs, and the evolving fashion industry.
Combining her passion and experience, Charithma launched AriEllė — a brand that merges Sri Lankan heritage with contemporary fashion trends. Her designs feature bright colours, bold patterns, and high-quality fabrics, reflecting both her roots and a modern aesthetic. Every piece is crafted with the modern woman in mind—someone who values comfort, versatility, and style.
In 2023, AriEllė opened its first physical store in a trendy shopping mall, bringing these unique designs to a wider audience. Charithma’s vision is to expand AriEllė internationally, sharing Sri Lankan culture and art through fashion while empowering women worldwide.
My parents inspired my fashion business dream to come into reality. They supported me financially and encouraged my talent to grow in this competitive industry. My father is the most hardworking, generous man I know, and my mother is the strongest, loving woman I know. AriEllė is not just a business—it’s a way to give comfort, strength, and confidence to women, helping them become what they love.
